Mitch Weisburgh

US COO at 3DBear

Mitch Weisburgh has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Mitch is currently serving as the US COO at 3DBear, a company that provides experiential learning experiences using Augmented and Virtual Reality. Mitch joined 3DBear in February 2019 and continues to work there.

Prior to their role at 3DBear, Mitch worked as the Managing Partner at Academic Business Advisors, LLC since November 2005. Mitch'sfocus was on promoting growth, networking, and distribution of excellence in the education sector.

Mitch also has experience working with international students as a Volunteer at AFS. Mitch helped these students adjust to life in the US by providing seminars and personal guidance.

In 2015, Mitch co-founded Games4Ed.org and served as its Director. The organization aimed to advance learning opportunities by utilizing games and immersive learning strategies in schools. Mitch was involved in establishing collaborations between educators, researchers, game developers, publishers, and policymakers.

From 2017 to 2018, Mitch held the position of President of the ETIN Division at SIIA (Software & Information Industry Association).

Before that, they owned Pilot Online Learning from May 2000 to October 2005.

Mitch's extensive work experience also includes being the President and Founder of PCLC, a technical training firm. During their time at PCLC from June 1981 to September 1999, they developed courses, hired and trained staff, and successfully grew the business to over 125 employees across multiple offices in the Northeast US.

Mitch Weisburgh attended Union College from 1971 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Following this, from 1980 to 1981, they enrolled in the Masters Degree Program for Executives at Columbia Business School, earning a Master of Science degree in Business Policy.
