The Accounting Manager will be responsible for providing expert support to the accounting team by ensuring a seamless month-end close and effectively overseeing accounts receivable operations, along with managing billing and collections activities.  This includes role includes monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable statuses, performing collection activities, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting global audits. 

What You'll Do

  • Support the accounting team through the month-end close process
  • Supervise accounts receivable specialists and related billing and collections efforts
  • Monitor and report on accounts receivable status, including customer aging, collections forecast, team performance, etc.
  • Perform collection activities, including contacting customers and collaborating cross functionally to resolve any issues and follow up on outstanding and aged balances
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze general ledger transactions
  • Support global audits and statutory accounting requirements
  • Supervise a growing accounting team in keeping with expressed objectives and corporate culture
  • Perform special projects on request and other duties as assigned

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • Minimum Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years of experience of general accounting in a global company

  • Other Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to apply GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet team goals in a fast-paced, growing company

  • Ability to work independently with minimal day to day supervision

  • Ability to effectively business partner and build connections with cross function teams

  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, and advanced level of Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables

  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a project team environment and directly with senior

  • Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language

  • Preferred/Desired:

  • CPA license or equivalent country professional certification

  • Experience using NetSuite, our accounting ERP

  • Big 4 public accounting experience

  • Experience working with a software and/or subscription business
