Simon Friberg Andersen is currently the Digital Director at 3i. Prior to this, they were the Head of Digital International at Marks and Spencer from January 2014 to December 2018. Simon was responsible for leading a team of 50 digital professionals in China, India, and the UK. Before Marks and Spencer, Simon was the Head of Online Innovation at Woolworths Limited from January 2012 to December 2014. Prior to Woolworths, Simon was a Partner at Userneeds from January 2007 to December 2017. Simon won the Gazelle price for high growth three years in a row (2009, 2010, 2011). Simon began their career as a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group from January 2002 to December 2007. Simon also worked as a Summer Associate at JP Morgan Investment Bank in London from June 2000 to August 2000.

Simon Friberg Andersen's educational career includes a Masters in Finance from Copenhagen Business School, an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and graduate classes in Doing Business in Asia from the Singapore Institute of Management. Simon also has a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Market Research and Marketing from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
