Pierre supports the production of systematic reviews and evidence gap maps at the Synthesis and Reviews Office.
Before joining 3ie, he worked for several development organizations, including the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), a specialized agency of the United Nations, the World Bank and the Institute of Development Studies, IDS. His main activities were on project impact evaluations which took place in several countries (Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Niger, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda) and focused on agriculture, rural development, child health and development, education and conflict. At IFAD, he also contributed to evidence synthesis on agricultural topics. He also was part of the Young Lives Study team at the University of Oxford in the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID).
Pierre holds a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Development Economics at the University of Sussex. He is now a PhD Candidate in Economics, part-time, at the University of Sussex.
