Adam Dunford

UX Design Principal, Medical Solutions at 3M

Adam Dunford has a diverse work experience in the field of UX design. Adam started their career as a Project Manager and Web Designer at Uinta Business Systems. Adam then worked at NIC Inc., where they served as the Director of Portal Operations for Vermont.gov and later as a Project Manager and Interface Designer for Utah.gov. At McCann Erickson, they worked as an Account Supervisor and Technical Product Development Specialist. Adam later joined Primary Intelligence as the VP of Product Development, overseeing the transition of the company into an online sales intelligence firm. Adam also worked at Simply Interactive as the Director of User Experience, focusing on eLearning solutions. Adam served as an Adjunct Instructor at Eagle Gate College-Murray and held various roles at SymSoft Solutions, including UI/UX Designer, Information Architect, and Director of Creative Services & User Experience. Adam also worked as a Lead UX Designer at inUse, providing design expertise to clients in various industries. Currently, they are working at 3M as a UX Design Principal for the Medical Solutions Division and previously served as a UX Design Principal for the Health Information Systems Division. In addition to their work experience, they have also founded Steeple Ashton, LLC, an independent UX design consultancy. Throughout their career, Adam has been involved in projects aimed at improving user experience and creating innovative design solutions.

Adam Dunford has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast Journalism from Brigham Young University. Adam also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interaction Design & Technologies from Chalmers University of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Adam has obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, which they achieved in May 2014.
