Hector Herrera Jr

Hector Herrera Jr has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2005, they held various roles including Student Intern at Caterpillar Inc. and Motorola, Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and leadership positions at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. In 2007, Hector joined 3M where they had multiple roles including Advanced Crushing & Screening Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineer. Hector also served as the Manufacturing Execution Systems Lead and Senior Operations Engineer/Site Energy Champion. Prior to joining 3M, they worked as a Production Manager at Kindeva Drug Delivery. In 2022, Hector returned to 3M as a Principal Project Engineer. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, process improvement, and lean manufacturing.

Hector Herrera Jr began their education at West High School, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. After completing high school, they continued their studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
