Michael M. Dai

Michael M. Dai is the current Assistant Secretary at 3M. Prior to joining 3M, Dai was a trustee at Mounds Park Academy from March 2013 to June 2021, where they also served on the finance committee. From January 1994 to December 1999, Dai worked as an associate at Sidley Austin LLP, specializing in public offerings, stock exchange listings and private placements of debt and equity securities. Prior to that, Dai served as a Special Attorney in the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Minnesota from June 1993 to August 1993, prosecuting implied consent cases on behalf of the state. From January 1992 to December 1994, Dai was an associate at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly. Michael began their legal career as a judicial intern to the Honorable Edward S. Smith at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from September 1990 to December 1990.

Michael M. Dai attended Samford University and obtained their J.D. (Juris Doctor).
