Tom Thorpe

Tom Thorpe has a solid work experience, starting in 2013 as a Summer Intern at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. From there, they worked at the Skills Funding Agency as a Technical Consultant and later as a Cloud Engineer, focusing on deploying new applications and secure infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. In 2014, Tom returned to BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, initially as a Third Line Support Engineer, providing support for C# applications and automating support processes. Tom then became a Lead Developer and a Software Engineer, delivering key functionality for a C# desktop application and backend web services. Tom also took on the role of Service Support Lead, overseeing incident management and developing a system monitoring solution. From 2020 to 2021, Tom worked as a Senior Software Engineer at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, responsible for developing features for a new system and transitioning the project to a new team and location. In 2021, they joined 4C Strategies as a Senior Software Engineer.

Tom Thorpe attended Maidstone Grammar School from 2003 to 2010. However, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this period. Later, from 2010 to 2014, Tom pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science at the University of Southampton.
