Daniel Pokrývka

Daniel Pokrývka has accumulated substantial work experience in various roles and companies throughout their career. Starting in 2001, they worked as an Administrator at Ferokov s r.o. until 2003. Daniel then joined Datalite as a Tester from 2005 to 2005. In the same year, they became an External Software Developer before transitioning to a position as a Software Engineer at Baud spol. s r.o. from 2006 to 2008. Daniel then progressed to the role of Project Manager & Development Team Lead at the same company from 2008 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, Daniel fulfilled the role of Project Manager at Baud spol. s r.o. In 2014, they joined 4finance where they took on the role of Product Owner until 2016 and then moved to the position of Product Manager until 2021. Currently, Daniel holds the position of Head of Software Development at 4finance, where they are responsible for various key functions including building and rolling out fintech solutions, driving business agility, and implementing organizational design. Daniel also promotes Lean-Agile leadership principles within the organization.

Daniel Pokrývka attended the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2004 to 2008, majoring in Maths, Physics, and Software Engineering. Daniel did not obtain a degree during this time. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the years following their education, including a Certified LeSS Practitioner certification from The LeSS Company and a Professional Agile Leadership™ I (PAL I) certification from Scrum.org, both in 2023. Daniel also holds multiple other certifications related to agile methodologies and project management, obtained from institutions such as LinkedIn and ICAgile.
