Hewa Dayaratne

Hewa Dayaratne has extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst and Business Consultant, with a range of roles spanning different organizations.

Hewa most recently worked at 4mation Technologies as a Senior Business Analyst starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Kangan Institute in the same role from September 2020 to April 2022.

Before these positions, Hewa held the role of Senior Business Consultant at Tribal from February 2019 to September 2020. Hewa also worked at Tribal Group as a Product Business Analyst from November 2016 to February 2019.

Earlier in their career, Hewa had roles at Deakin University, Australian Unity, GT Nexus (formerly TradeCard), Providence Global Private Ltd., and MineMap Pty. Ltd., where they gained experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Analyst Programmer. Throughout these positions, they demonstrated their ability to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and conduct workshops and interviews to improve systems and processes.

Hewa Dayaratne completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at Deakin University from 2004 to 2005. Hewa then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General MBA at the University of South Wales from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Hewa Dayaratne obtained various certifications, including "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning" and "Power BI Essential Training" from LinkedIn in February 2023. Hewa also achieved certifications such as "Dynamics for Power Users: Reports, Charts, and Dashboards" and "Learning Microsoft Dynamics 365: The Basics" from LinkedIn in June 2020. Hewa Dayaratne obtained the "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" certification from Scrum Alliance in January 2023 and became an "IIBA® Member" certified by IIBA in January 2023 as well.
