Eric Nordberg

Eric Nordberg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and research within the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology. Currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at 540 since August 2021, Eric previously held the position of Sr. Software Developer at Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC from February 2020 to July 2021. Prior to that, Eric worked as a Research Scientist at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute for one year and spent nearly 17 years at the Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech as a Research Scientist and Senior Software Engineer. Eric's academic credentials include a PhD in Genetics, Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Genetics from the University of Arizona, and a B.S. in Biology from Guilford College.
