Balaram Rouniyar

Balaram Rouniyar has worked in various roles across a range of companies since 2008. Balaram began their career with S. Parakh & Co. as an Article Assistant in 2008. In 2013, they joined Bhura & Co. as a Practicing CA and Styletag as a Dy. Manager - Finance & Accounts and Assistant Manager Finance. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Aditya Birla Online Fashion Pvt. Ltd. as a Lead - Plan & Commercial. During their time there, they were responsible for procurement of services with best negotiated rates and legal terms favourable to the company, as well as coordinating in planning and preparation of Annual Budget, reviewing the budget on periodic basis and preparing report on variance analysis. From 2017 to 2020, they were employed at Myntra as a Senior Manager Finance and Manager Finance, where they were responsible for P&L Ownership of Women's Fashion Business Units and driving all commercial/ revenue deals including brand negotiations across various inventory models. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, they were a Director - finance and Assistant director - Finance at slice. Currently, they are the Head of Finance at 56 Secure.

Balaram Rouniyar obtained their Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 2008 and 2012. In 2014, they also obtained a Certificate Course on Forex and Treasury Management from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a Certification on Forex and Treasury Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in June 2014.
