John Baker

John Baker is the SVP of Business Development at Mavenir. John has over fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, having served in various leadership roles during their career.

Baker began their career as a consultant and Chief Technology Officer at IMC Worldcell. John then served as VP and GM of Network Solutions at CommScope, followed by VP and GM of Applications, Commercial Software at TeleCommunication Systems. In January 2014, they joined Spirent Communications as General Manager of Mobility Infrastructure. John served in this role for four years before joining Mavenir in 2018.

At Mavenir, Baker is responsible for leading the business development team and overseeing the company's relationships with key partners and customers. John is also responsible for defining the company's business strategy and growth. Under their leadership, Mavenir has become a leading provider of 5G software solutions.

John Baker graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
