Job description

At 5X our top priority is now to build out the platform. Picture every company using 5X as getting a core stack (Data Ingestion, Warehouse, Modelling & Orchestration and BI) out of the box with user permissions and Utilization insights.  We are looking for Data Engineers with with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions. This is a full time role.

What is the Role?

  • Understand and analyze client's business requirements to design and implement effective data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Create and optimize data models to support client reporting and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and visualization.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to provide project updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, if applicable.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve data engineering processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering/analytics, with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data warehouse platforms like Snowflake and Google BigQuery is highly desirable; familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (such as fivetran,dbt, census) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with airflow, databricks, and event tracking tools such as Heap & Segment is nice to have.
  • Getting things done, knowing how to unblock yourself, communicating, and engaging with customers proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Requires travel to client site in Pune for 2-3 days per week
