Sankalp Samal

Sankalp Samal has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles.

Starting in 2016, Samal worked as a Full-Stack Developer at Deloitte India, where they developed a web application for case workers in United States Human and Health Services offices. This application facilitated the registration and screening of individuals applying for health benefits.

From 2019 to 2022, Samal joined Dimagi as a Technical Project Manager. In this role, they managed the development of a holistic COVID-19 vaccine distribution solution that included a mobile application for vaccine administration and a real-time monitoring dashboard. Sankalp also served as the Technical Product Manager for the HMHB Tajikistan project, where they designed data collection tools and supported the pilot of a digital health ecosystem.

Currently, in 2022, Samal is working as a Product Owner at 60 Decibels. Their responsibilities include leading the scoping and delivery of web-based dashboards for investors and investees in the Microfinance space. Sankalp successfully activated a significant number of users and increased user engagement and retention through the incorporation of data filters and drill down capabilities into the product.

Sankalp Samal holds a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration from Annamalai University, which was obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from KIIT University in Bhubaneshwar, from 2012 to 2016.
