Zachary Morris

Zachary Morris has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Zachary currently holds the position of Controller at 60 Decibels, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Spotify as a Senior Manager - Content Accounting from February 2022 to January 2023. Zachary also served as a Finance Manager at Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment from January 2020 to February 2022.

Before transitioning into the entertainment industry, Zachary gained experience in the technology sector by working as a Senior Content Accountant at Netflix from August 2018 to December 2019. Zachary also has a strong background in audit and assurance from their time at KPMG US, where they held the roles of Audit Manager from July 2017 to July 2018 and Senior Associate from November 2014 to July 2017.

Furthermore, Zachary has experience in fund accounting from their time at BlueMountain Capital Management, where they worked as a Fund Accountant from August 2013 to November 2014. Additionally, they gained experience in financial services audit at Rothstein Kass, where they held the position of Financial Services Audit Associate from November 2011 to August 2013.

Zachary's career started with internships, including one at Rothstein Kass as a Financial Services Audit Intern from January 2011 to April 2011, and another at Adams and Salter CPAs PC, where they worked as an Intern from February 2010 to November 2010. Zachary also participated in the Audit Mentorship Program at Deloitte in July 2010.

Zachary Morris completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing at Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting CPA Preparation at Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, they obtained the CPA certification from NYSSCPA - The New York State Society of CPAs.
