Founding Team

About

The founding team at 64x Bio met while working as postdoctoral research fellows at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and Harvard Medical School. Both had earned their degrees from prestigious institutions - Yale University and University of California, Berkeley - in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and Molecular Environmental Biology, respectively. From their shared experience in cutting-edge research, the team members knew they could make an impact in the field of synthetic biology by developing new technologies to enable the engineering of complex biological systems.
