Vagney Bradley has held a variety of roles in the media industry since 2013. In 2013, they served as a Staff Writer for The Horn, where they managed their own column, "Longhorn Biting the Big Apple." In 2014, they served as a Correspondent/Video Editor for MusicXclusives, LLC, a role which included researching and conducting interviews with various music artists for an online music media outlet, as well as editing interviews using Final Cut Pro and connecting with the media outlet's growing online audience. In the same year, they also served as a Broadcast News Liaison for the T. Howard Foundation - Diversity in Media, and as a CBS News Broadcast Intern for CBS News, where they researched stories and edited audio in Jutel Quick Edit Pro and Jutel RadioMan. In 2015, they served as a Reporter for Houston Community Newspapers and Media Group, where they reported newsworthy events covering the Cy-Fair area of Houston for publication in both digital and print. In 2016, they served as a Reporter for the Houston Chronicle, where they reported newsworthy events covering the Cy-Fair area and other suburban areas of Houston for publication in both digital and print, and produced video news stories for the publication's digital media. In 2018, they served as a Multimedia Marketing Producer/Reporter for WCSC-TV Live 5 News. In 2020, they served as a Multimedia Communications Specialist for the Medical University of South Carolina, where they implemented and further developed the communications strategy of Hollings Cancer Center, and as a Content Marketing Specialist, Senior Editor, and City Editor for 6AM City, where their role included launching a new hyper-local daily newsletter in Austin, TX, delivering new process flows that help the communications team operate more efficiently, showcasing social media, community management, and social marketing through daily newsletter and through Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and summarizing news into short-form, original content for newsletter, web, and social media.

Vagney Bradley attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Journalism in Journalism. From 2012 to 2014, they also attended The University of Texas at Austin - College of Communication, earning a Bachelor of Journalism in Journalism. In August 2022, they obtained certifications in Content Marketing and SEO from HubSpot Academy.
