Chasen Sherman

Chasen Sherman began their work experience in 2014 as an Undergraduate Researcher at M3B Lab and as a Retail Associate at Cal Student Store. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at NASA Ames Research Center and completed a Vehicle Dynamics Final Project at UC Berkeley. Chasen also gained Product Development Intern experience at Ford Motor Company. From 2016 to 2018, Chasen worked at Lucid Motors as a Vehicle Simulation, Senior Controls Engineer. Chasen then joined TuSimple in 2018 as a Research Engineer III. In 2020, Chasen transitioned to Qualcomm as a Senior Engineer until 2022. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at 6sense and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Chasen Sherman attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their degree, Chasen has obtained several certifications, including a Web development bootcamp from Udemy in July 2021, a Nand2Tetris Course from Coursera in December 2020, and a SolidWorks Associate- Mechanical Design certification from SolidWorks in December 2013. Chasen also completed the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials Training, although specific details regarding the month and year of completion are not provided.
