Chuan He

Chuan Chuan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at 6sense since May 2022. Previously, they worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer in the Azure Service Health Team from August 2020 to April 2022. During their time at Microsoft, they designed and led the development of a database feed-based ingestion system that significantly reduced data mismatch and ingestion time, while also improving performance and enhancing data consumption for customers.

Prior to Microsoft, Chuan Chuan served as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, they played key roles in various projects, including expanding services to the ICN region and automating processes, transforming customer data using Apache Spark, supporting network racks and fiber forecast systems, designing a new generation demand forecasting system for networks, and building a mobile app and backend service for data processing.

Chuan Chuan started their career as an SDE Intern at Amazon Web Services and gained experience in system-wide version control systems and permission management systems. Chuan also worked on the Builder Tools- GitFarm project, where they solved operational issues and contributed to deprecating legacy services.

Additionally, Chuan Chuan served as an SDE Intern at Amazon, where they worked on the Ecommerce Platform, building features such as a dynamic contact us feature and an internal data service viewer.

Before their internships, Chuan Chuan worked as an ECE208 Undergraduate Lab Assistant at Purdue University and as a Student Assistant at Purdue Earhart Dining Court. Chuan also had a brief experience as a CPA Advertising professional at DHC.

Overall, Chuan Chuan has a diverse and extensive background in software engineering, with experience in designing and developing systems, improving data integrity and performance, and building various applications and features for customer convenience.

Chuan Chuan began their education at the Indiana State School Music Association in 2008, where they obtained the Indina State Solo Silver certification. From 2005 to 2007, they attended the No.2 Secondary School Attached to East China Normal University, earning a Secondary School degree. Chuan then moved on to Culver Academies from 2007 to 2009, completing their secondary education.

Continuing their academic journey, Chuan Chuan enrolled at Purdue University from 2009 to 2013, majoring in Computer Engineering and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science degree at Washington University in St. Louis from 2014 to 2015. During this time, they also obtained a Certificate in Data Mining and Machine Learning from the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Chuan Chuan has obtained various certifications. Chuan obtained an Insurance Producer License from the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner in December 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI in October 2019 and the Rescue Diver certification from PADI in November 2020. Chuan also holds an AIDA 3 certification from AIDA International, acquired in May 2021, and a Level 1 Certified Instructor certification from the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance / Alliance des moniteurs de ski du Canada, obtained in March 2022.
