Nitish Kumar Rath

Nitish Kumar Rath has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Nitish Kumar is currently employed as a Software Engineer II at 6sense since June 2022. Prior to this, from August 2019 to June 2022, they worked at MathWorks as a Software Engineer 2.

Before their role at MathWorks, Nitish was a Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Florida's Intelligent Health Systems Lab from August 2018 to May 2019. In this role, they contributed to the development of projects involving Deep Learning architectures like Densepose and Facenet, focusing on building Intelligent Health Care Systems. Nitish Kumar worked on projects such as developing a system to identify personnel in an ICU based on their roles and creating software to blur faces in ICU videos for privacy protection.

Earlier in their career, Nitish worked as a Summer Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2018. Before joining Oracle India Pvt. Ltd, Nitish gained experience as a Project Intern at Research Center Imarat, DRDO in 2014, where they designed and developed an interface for high-altitude sensing hardware, allowing for control and data collection.

Additionally, in 2013, Nitish worked as a Research Intern at the Computational Systems Biology lab at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. There, they contributed to the analysis of metabolic pathways in E. Coli bacteria to identify critical chemical pathways necessary for the bacteria's sustenance.
