Daniel Quezada has a strong background in finance and administration spanning over 20 years. Daniel most recently served as the Vice President of Finance & Administration at 8base starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Enterprise FP&A, Cost Transformation at Walmart from January 2021 to April 2022.
Daniel also held various roles at Walmart, including Automation & Analytics - Global Business Services, Merchandising Operations Business Analytics - Walmart US - Grocery, and Director of Global Audit Services. Daniel was responsible for enhancing operational efficiency and implementing strategic initiatives during their time at Walmart from 2013 to 2018.
Before joining Walmart, Daniel worked as the Senior Director of Finance Transformation at DB Schenker from August 2018 to January 2021. Daniel played a key role in driving financial transformation initiatives and improving financial processes.
Daniel's earlier experience includes serving as the Vice President of Finance at CareCloud Corp. from November 2010 to February 2013, where they led all corporate finance functions and directed cross-functional strategic business operating model reviews. Daniel also held positions at Burger King Corporation as the Senior Manager of QA & Process Improvement and Controller for the Latin America/Caribbean Region.
Daniel began their career in consulting, working as an Engagement Manager at KPMG from July 2004 to March 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Consultant at KPMG Consulting and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.
Throughout their career, Daniel has gained extensive experience in finance, strategic planning, process improvement, and business consulting. Daniel has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead teams, drive financial transformation, and enhance operational efficiency.
Daniel Quezada has obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Prior to that, they also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Finance from the same institution. Additionally, Daniel has acquired certifications in Behavioral Economics from Chicago Booth Executive Education in May 2021 and in Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Michigan in June 2010.
