Ben has two decades of expertise in construction project leadership for utility- and commercial-scale projects. During his career in the renewable energy industry, he has built more than 2.5 GW of utility-scale solar projects across major markets including California, Texas and Arizona. Prior to joining 8minute Solar Energy, Ben served as the Senior Director of Construction Management at Recurrent Energy, where he was responsible for the successful construction and interconnection of utility-scale projects in the company’s U.S. portfolio. He also previously worked in engineering and project management roles for construction firms like Rudolph and Sletten and Lovett Silverman. Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in Building Science from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Denver.
