Brian Grummel

Brian Grummel, Ph.D. has a strong background in energy storage engineering and power electronics. Brian currently works as the Sr. Director of Energy Storage Engineering at Avantus, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Energy Storage Deployment and Engineering at Greensmith Energy, a Wärtsilä company, from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they were a Power Electronics and Semiconductor Scientist at GeneSiC Semiconductor from 2013 to 2016. Brian began their career as a Power Semiconductor Doctoral Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from 2009 to 2013.

Brian Grummel, Ph.D. obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
