Stephanie Perry

COO at 8minute Solar Energy

Stephanie is the Chief Operating Officer at 8minute Solar Energy, where she oversees the seasoned leaders of 8minute’s development, engineering, procurement and plant operations teams. Stephanie has more than 16 years of experience working in the renewable energy industry across the varied fields of technology evaluation, system engineering, solar project development and commercial contract negotiations. Stephanie first joined 8minute in 2017 as Vice President of Commercial Transactions, and most recently, served as Senior Vice President, Engineering and Transactions. Prior to joining 8minute, Stephanie held various leadership positions at Recurrent Energy. Over her time in the solar industry, she has led teams to complete more than 4 GW of domestic and international solar EPC, equipment, and O&M contracts and 1.5 GW of PPA transactions, including the record-breaking Eland Solar & Storage Center, a 400 MWac smart power plant featuring an integrated 300 MW/1200 MWh energy storage facility.

Previously, Stephanie worked at Northrop Grumman as a launch and operations system engineer in the space technology division. She also worked as an investment associate at Chevron Technology Ventures and CalCEF Angel Fund, focused on solar and renewable energy technology venture investing. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Notre Dame, an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from USC, and an M.B.A from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
