Sales Coordinator (US Remote)

Who You Are

As a detailed oriented and analytical person, numbers have always spoken to you at a level that deepens your understanding beyond what words describe or a picture can display. You seek to use all available resources and tools at your discretion to fully amplify a story and support those in your team. While your skills could support multiple functions,  you have an undeniable interest and passion for sales and marketing. In your previous roles, you have demonstrated a tenacity to deeply understand clients and to help your team meet their goals and deliverables. You are able to help deduce big projects into measurable, trackable and achievable milestones. In addition to these attributes you also have:

  • Worked as a critical part of Sales Administration or Coordination team for at least 2 years with increasingly responsibility
  • Managed and maintained reports and spreadsheets with financial, confidential and delicate material with professionalism and respect for the sensitivity of what is enclosed
  • Maintained the accuracy and integrity of data, reports, entries, metrics, and other Sales pipeline data in Hubspot or other sales platforms
  • Assisted in the preparation and organization of sales collateral (including sales presentations and case studies), promotional materials, and/or events
  • Utilized your strong writing ability and editorial capability to assist Marketing team members in ensuring brand consistency and reusability of assets
  • Monitored and reported on sales pipeline pacing in collaboration with other functions and stakeholders, including Finance and Operations
  • Handled all administrative duties for the sales team, including scheduling client conferences and meetings

What You’ll Do At 8th Light

You will leverage your talents to build processes and enhance systems that support the selling and collaboration of client facing teams at 8th Light. You will enable planning and execution of of sales strategy through your organization of sales and demand team activities pre-, during and post sale. Success in this role will be realized by unlocking opportunities to create structure, clean and maintained data and nurturing of accounts that will enhance the client experience at 8th Light. Other items you will accomplish include:

  • Assembling and/or developing relevant domain, market, or client background/ themes /trends
  • Researching targets and prospects to ensure lead qualification
  • Coordinating with sales team on scope, pricing, and contract-related needs
  • Establishing  alignment on sales timeline with account strategy team and ensuring this timeframe is maintained
  • Editing and adding content to capabilities documents and sales presentations for clients using brand tenets, voice and tone
  • Providing assistance to management team members and executives as needed
  • Maintaining, upkeep and diligence with other stakeholder who input data into Hubspot
  • Multitasking high priorities deliverable in a fast-paced environment
  • Leading administrative and organizational activities related to sales and demand through problem-solving skills.
  • Supporting our Brand Ambassador Program

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within a professional service organization or consultative selling
  • Experience as an executive assistant or analyst is preferable

A Note on Compensation:

8th Light has recently adopted a compensation strategy that allows us to be competitive in each market for which we hire. Thereby, salary ranges for each position are not only determined based on experience and knowledge base, but also regional labor markets.
