Brendan Kasper

Brendan Kasper is an experienced legal professional, currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Data Protection Officer at 8x8 since August 2017, where responsibilities include managing privacy compliance and regulatory affairs. As President of Von Coalition since February 2009, Brendan leads external advocacy for a trade association representing IP service providers. Previously, Brendan held the position of Senior Regulatory Counsel at Vonage Holdings Corp. from December 2007 to April 2017, overseeing regulatory affairs for VoIP services. Brendan's early career includes roles as an Associate at Steptoe & Johnson LLP and Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, where Brendan represented clients in telecommunications and regulatory matters, and at LECG, focusing on telecommunications economic analysis. Brendan holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Bates College.
