Ilan Hornstein

Ilan Hornstein is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in high-level legal management roles. Currently serving as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at 8x8 since June 2023, Ilan previously held the position of Chief Legal Officer & Head of Business Operations at Nauto from February 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the legal function, advising the CEO, and driving compliance and risk management. Prior to Nauto, Ilan contributed as Senior Director of Commercial Legal Affairs at TiVo from 2013 to 2018, focusing on negotiations for business transactions and product counseling. Early legal experience includes roles as Associate Attorney at Sidley Austin LLP and Bingham McCutchen LLP, specializing in IP and technology transactions for startups. Ilan began a professional career as a Project Engineer at Raytheon from 2000 to 2004, after earning a JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.
