Aja Topps-Harjo serves as a Campus Life Programming Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, collaborating with Campus Life to create engaging programs for the university community. Aja also acts as the Student Programming Manager at the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, coordinating events for LGBTQIA+ programs, and enhancing student engagement. As a Merle Kling Undergraduate Honors Fellow, Aja pursues independent research on African American women navigating intersectional identities in legal careers and participates in the SEO EDGE program to develop professional skills. Previous experiences include internships with the U.S. Department of State and Goldman Sachs, as well as various roles that fostered leadership and community engagement. Aja is currently working toward a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological & Brain Science and African & African American Studies, with study abroad plans in January 2024.
