Sylvie Beauvais

Sylvie Beauvais is an experienced psychotherapist and consultant with a strong background in clinical social work and a commitment to supporting individuals through various life challenges. Currently serving as a volunteer psychotherapist at A Home Within since January 2018, Sylvie provides pro bono therapy to those who have experienced foster or kinship care. In private practice since April 2017, Sylvie focuses on fostering joy and well-being through a caring therapeutic relationship. Additionally, Sylvie owns SylvieWrites, offering grant writing and consulting services to non-profits and individuals. Prior roles include psychotherapist at the Therapy Center of Philadelphia, social worker at DaVita Kidney Care, and outpatient therapist at NHS Human Services. Sylvie holds a Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work and a Master of Liberal Arts in Creative Writing, Social Justice, and Cinema from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University.
