Tytanan Burney (Ty)

Tytanan (Ty) Burney is a Junior Software Developer at a.i. solutions, focusing on the integration of command and telemetry for superconducting nanowire single photon detectors into spacecraft optical communications software. Previous experience includes work as a Software Systems Engineer at Genex Systems and as Associate Professional Staff at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where performance analysis and acceptance testing of software for the Parker Solar Probe were conducted. Tytanan has a background in microgravity research at Cornell University, developing software for data collection in Zero-G flights and managing a launch vehicle subteam for the Cornell Rocketry Team. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering was obtained from Cornell University, following completion of studies at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
