Sean Burnside

Sean Burnside is a versatile professional with experience in both creative writing and technical support. Since July 2010, Sean has been a self-employed writer and blogger, focusing on speculative fiction, particularly in the realms of steampunk/gaslight adventure and urban/supernatural horror. Prior to this, Sean spent several years at a la mode, inc., beginning as a Lead Technician and Quality Assurance Specialist from March 2005 to March 2007 and then advancing to Senior Software Support from December 2008 to the present, where exemplary customer service and software troubleshooting skills have been utilized. Sean also contributed technical support at The Post*Star from May 2007 to December 2008 and managed a leisure travel office in the United States Air Force from June 2001 to March 2005. Sean holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma, earned between 1989 and 1996.
