Jay George

Jay George has diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jay began their career in 1993 as an Associate Attorney at Francis J. Dooley, ESQ. Jay then worked as a Principal Attorney at George & George, PC from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, they furthered their legal career as an Attorney at Update Legal Staffing, where they supported the General Counsel of an equipment leasing company during a roll-up merger. After that, they joined United Staffing as a Contract Attorney for PaineWebber, conducting legal research on securities and reviewing financial information for SEC audits.

In 1999, Jay became a Regulatory Analyst at PaineWebber, where they responded to investigations from regulatory bodies and analyzed legal documentation. Jay then joined Prudential Financial, Inc. in 2000 as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst, where they reviewed and responded to regulatory inquiries and performed legal research in various areas.

From 2003 to 2015, Jay served as a Senior Risk & Compliance Officer at McGraw Hill Financial, Inc. - Platts. In this role, they conducted annual risk assessments, made recommendations for process improvements, and performed controls testing to ensure regulatory and company standard compliance.

Most recently, Jay worked as an Associate Director at A.M. Best Company, starting in 2016. In this position, they focused on regulatory and credit rating criteria research and analytics.

Jay George has obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Susquehanna University. Furthermore, they have pursued their higher education at Seton Hall University School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
