Shawn Schmonsky

Shawn Schmonsky has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Shawn began their career in 1998 as a Contractor at Toyota, where they worked in safety and human resources for a year before becoming a Human Resource Specialist. In 2001, they joined Avery Dennison as a Human Resource Generalist before being promoted to Human Resources Manager in 2002. In 2004, Shawn moved to Target Corporation as a Human Resources Group Leader II. Shawn then joined A. O. Smith in 2006, initially as a Human Resources Manager before taking on the role of Director of Human Resources for North American Operations in 2012. Currently, Shawn serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at A. O. Smith.

Shawn Schmonsky has a Master's degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, which was obtained between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Western Kentucky University, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997. Additionally, Shawn has certifications in Certified Trainer from Achieve Group and SPHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
