Tom Loshe has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Tom began their career as an Electronics Technician at ITT Aerospace/Optical Division in 1985, followed by a role as an Electronics Technician at General Electric (Transformer Division) in 1986. In 1987, they joined United Space Alliance as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they worked on the Space Shuttle Operations/Solid Rocket Booster program. Tom also served as a Team Leader for the development and deployment of an Enterprise Supply Chain System. Tom then moved on to Abacus Technology in 2012, where they served as a Quality Engineer and Lead Internal Auditor, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, CMMI-DEV, and CMMI-SVC Level III standards. Tom was responsible for extensive Root Cause Analysis work and the implementation of the company's Quality Management System. In 2018, they joined ASRC Federal as a Quality Engineer, where they continued to oversee compliance and managed the implementation of the company's Quality Management System for the KIAC contract. Tom'smost recent role is as a Senior Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance Specialist at APT (A-P-T Research, Inc.), where they began in 2023.
Tom Loshe has a Master of Science degree in Space Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology. Tom also holds a Bachelor's degree in Automated Manufacturing/Robotics from ITT Technical Institute, which they obtained from 1985 to 1986. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute from 1983 to 1985. Tom Loshe has also completed AS9100/AS9100 2015 Lead Auditor training. In addition to their formal education, they have certifications as a Certified Manager from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) and as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
