Behavioral Support Team

The Behavioral Support Team at A Step Up Academy is dedicated to improving the academic, social, and emotional well-being of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Utilizing evidence-based practices, team members provide targeted interventions and support tailored to each student's unique needs. The team collaborates closely with families, school districts, and communities to facilitate the inclusion of children into mainstream educational environments. Areas of focus include communication, cognitive development, sensory and motor skills, as well as addressing adaptive and problem behaviors to optimize learning outcomes.
