Henry Chee

Henry Chee has a long and varied work experience. Henry began their career in 2012 as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia. In 2014, they took on a Software Development Engineer Co-op role at A Thinking Ape, where they worked on fixing bugs and adding new features to two top grossing iOS/Android games: Kingdoms at War and Party in My Dorm, making changes to both the server and the Java/Objective-C/ActionScript client code. During this time, they also held a Software Development Engineer Intern role at Amazon and a Software Engineer Intern role at Google. In 2018, they returned to A Thinking Ape as a Software Development Engineer III.

Henry Chee obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a Combined Business and Computer Science field of study from The University of British Columbia in 2017. In 2021, they obtained a Reinforcement Learning Specialization certification from Coursera.
