Ali Albu Shama has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. ALI started their career as a Chief Engineer at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, where they oversaw the implementation of engineering policies and procedures, managed repair and maintenance operations, and led energy and maintenance committees. ALI then worked as an IT Intern at Wyndham Garden Hotel, where they were responsible for managing existing internal computers, resolving IT issues, and setting up new computer stations. ALI later served as a Production Engineer Co-Op at Toyota North America, managing production processes. Ali also worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. ALI then joined XPO Logistics, Inc. as an Operations Planning and Analysis professional. Ali has also worked at Cisco as a Software Engineer and at Toyota North America as a Network Software Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a Technical Support Engineer at A10 Networks, Inc.
Ali Albu Shama has a Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from the University of Technology in Iraq. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed courses such as L3 Routing with OSPF and BGP from the Online School of Network Sciences, Cisco Security White Belt, Viptela Certificate, and Introducing Cisco Security Foundations (SEC101) v1.0 from Cisco. ALI was also recognized as the Graduate Researcher of the Year by North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and has obtained certification in the American Red Cross Trauma Team from the American Red Cross.
