William Bretzlaff

William Bretzlaff has a diverse work experience in the biomedical field. William is currently a Senior Associate Scientist at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc., where they started in October 2022. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Research Associate at the same company from January 2020 to October 2022.

Prior to their time at A2 Biotherapeutics, William held the position of Senior Associate at Amgen from October 2014 to January 2020.

Their earlier work experience includes being a Research Associate II at City of Hope National Medical Center from August 2011 to October 2014, where they focused on researching chimeric antigen receptors targeting glioblastomas.

William began their career as an Undergraduate Research Apprentice at UC Berkeley from January 2009 to December 2010. During this time, they studied the mechanobiology of neural progenitor cells and human embryonic stem cells using genetic techniques and synthetic materials.

William Bretzlaff obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology - Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley. William pursued this degree from 2008 to 2011.
