Dr. Pei Tang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Project Controls Scheduling at T.Y. Lin International since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of President at AACE International - New Jersey Section in 2020. Dr. Pei also worked as the Lead of Project Controls at JCMS Inc from 2020 to 2022.

From 2019 to 2020, Dr. Tang worked as the Director at The Kenrich Group LLC | An HKA Company, where they provided claims consulting and project controls in the construction industry. Dr. Pei specialized in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, litigation progress, damage analysis, time impact and schedule delay analysis, productivity analysis, and more.

Before that, they held various roles at JCMS Inc, including Project Controls Manager from 2017 to 2019, Senior Scheduling Engineer/Project Controls Engineer from 2015 to 2017, and Junior Project Controls Engineer from 2012 to 2014. In these positions, they were responsible for CPM scheduling, resource planning, feasibility studies, review of schedules, change order management, delay analysis, and claims assessment. Dr. Pei also had experience in BIM 3D/4D modeling and analysis.

Dr. Tang also worked as a Project Scheduler at HNTB in 2014 and as a Construction Modeling and Simulation Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Risk Management Research Assistant at Shenzhen University in 2007 and as a Real Estate Research Assistant at Nanjing Forestry University from 2006 to 2007.

From 2003 to 2007, Dr. Tang attended Nanjing Forestry University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.

In 2007, Dr. Tang pursued further studies at Shenzhen University, focusing on Risk Management. This period lasted until 2008, during which they engaged in Master's level education.

Following this, from 2008 to 2012, Dr. Tang pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Construction Engineering and Management at Michigan Technological University.
