Scott Lacy has extensive experience in mathematics instruction, currently serving as a Mathematics Instructor at AAEC Early College High Schools since July 2017. Lacy previously held the position of Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at Estrella Mountain Community College for a brief period in early 2017 and at The University of Texas at Arlington from January 2007 to May 2016. Instructional responsibilities at the university included teaching courses such as Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, and Calculus 2, with classes totaling over 245 students in spring 2016 alone. Lacy also contributed to various academic conferences, presenting topics in combinatorics and neofields. In addition to teaching, Lacy was a National Science Foundation MAVS GK-12 Fellow, enhancing mathematics education through real-world applications in middle and high school settings. Lacy earned both a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Arlington.
