As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Regional Sales Director for the DACH region. You will be responsible for leading and managing all sales activities within the territory. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the market dynamics in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives in the DACH region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to maximize sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments, conducting market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to drive integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales campaigns, promotional activities, and pricing strategies to drive demand and increase market penetration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of ethics and integrity within the sales organization.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, networking with key stakeholders and promoting our brand and solutions.
  • Continuously strive for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the sales function, optimizing resources and enhancing productivity.
  • You report to the VP of Sales.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic / computer engineering (plus), Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in managing sales teams and driving revenue growth in the DACH region.

  • Deep understanding of the AI edge computing market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team towards common goals.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in German and English.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex data, develop actionable insights, and make informed business decisions.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and exceeding targets.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.

Location:

This position is based in Germany with frequent travel required within the DACH region.
