Kristen Helms

Kristen Helms possesses extensive experience in financial administration and public relations, currently serving as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Apollo Flow Controls, a position held since May 2019. Prior to this role, Kristen worked at Walmart from February 2016 to May 2019, ascending through positions as Accounts Payable Specialist IV and Accounts Payable Specialist III. Kristen's earlier career includes a role as Recreation Leader for the Town of Matthews from May 2009 to August 2016, where responsibilities included program planning, marketing, and customer service. Kristen also gained valuable experience as a Public Relations Intern at Howard/Merrell and as a Communication Intern at Hillsborough Street Community Service Corporation, focusing on social media content creation and event coordination. Kristen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from North Carolina State University in 2015.
