Maija Rissanen

Maija Rissanen started their work experience in 2020 as a Production Worker at Fazer, where they worked until 2022. In 2023, they participated in the Ignite startup accelerator program as a co-founder of Supported Health. Later in the same year, Maija joined the Aalto Entrepreneurship Society as a Project Lead, leading two projects simultaneously. In 2024, they were promoted to President of the society.

Maija Rissanen earned a Licentiate degree in Medicine from the University of Eastern Finland, studying from 2021 to 2027. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation exam at Lappeenrannan Lyseon lukio from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they had an exchange year at Kelmscott Senior High School in Australia in 2017.
