Jacob Bundsgaard

Jacob Bundsgaard is an experienced political leader currently serving as Næstformand and Formand at KL since March 2018, while also holding the position of Borgmester at Aarhus Kommune since 2002. Throughout the years, Jacob Bundsgaard has occupied various significant roles, including Rådmand for Børn og Unge, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of the Children and Young People department, and Rådmand for Kultur og Borgerservice, focusing on culture, sports, and citizen services. Additionally, Jacob Bundsgaard served as Politisk ordfører for Socialdemokratiet in Aarhus Byråd and worked as an Analyst at Konsulenthuset Gunbak from March 2008 to January 2009. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Political Science from Aarhus University, completed in 2008, and earlier studies at Gymnasium and Skødstrup skole.
