Marina Romero-Ramos is a highly accomplished academic and scientist with extensive experience in the field of neuroscience. Currently serving as a Full Professor at Aarhus University since November 2005, Marina has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, and leads the AU IDEAS Center NEURODIN. In addition to academic roles, Marina is engaged in editorial responsibilities as an Associate Editor for npj Parkinson's Disease (Nature Portfolio) and a Senior Editor for Brain Research (Elsevier), alongside serving as a Board Member for the Network of European CNS Transplantation and Restoration (NECTAR). Previous positions include postdoctoral roles at Lund University and UCLA, as well as owning a pharmacy. Marina holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and an M.Sc. in Pharmacology from the University of Seville, Spain.
