Jason Wilbur

Jason Wilbur has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Jason is currently the CEO of Aarno Labs, a R&D cybersecurity company focused on application security technology. Jason is also the Founder and CEO of Require Security, a commercial spinout from Aarno Labs that provides unique application security products.

Prior to their current roles, Jason worked at Oracle, where they held several senior director and director positions. Jason led strategic product initiatives and worked closely with Oracle Corporate Development, Partnerships & Alliances, and Sales. Jason also led a team of Solutions Architects and managed various aspects of Oracle Cloud platform, including solutions strategy, technical sales engineering, and product strategy for Oracle Cloud's Technology Strategic Partnerships and Cloud Marketplace growth.

Before Oracle, Jason held the position of Director of Product Management at Coupang, a leading e-commerce company in South Korea. Jason was responsible for leading the consumer platform services product and engineering organization during the pre-IPO growth stage.

Jason also gained valuable experience at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they worked as a Product Manager for AWS Marketplace. Jason oversaw the product roadmap for customer-facing feature development and had separate teams for the commercial Marketplace and the US Government-focused IC Marketplace contract.

Prior to AWS, Jason worked as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon Pay, where they oversaw B2B product strategy and contributed to significant user and merchant growth.

Before transitioning to the tech industry, Jason co-founded and served as CEO of MilitaryLounge, a profitable iOS and Android mobile app company that focused on travel expense tracking.

Jason's career began in the United States Air Force, where they held multiple roles, including Special Programs & Aircraft Modifications and C-17 & Boeing 757 Instructor Pilot. Jason managed a portfolio of technical projects and accumulated over 3,000 flight hours.

Jason Wilbur's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled at the University of Washington. Jason studied Economics at this institution until 2002, although they did not obtain a degree during this time.

After a gap of several years, Jason pursued further education in 2008 and attended Golden Gate University. Jason completed a Master of Science degree in Finance, specializing in Financial Planning, in 2010.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jason has obtained various certifications. In 2007, they earned the Aircraft Flight Instructor certification for C-17 and B-757 aircraft from the United States Air Force. In 2010, they obtained the Airline Transport Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.

More recently, in 2020 and 2021, Jason acquired two certifications related to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Jason became an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate in March 2020 and an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2020 Certified Architect Professional in February 2021.
