Rick McCain

Rick McCain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering geology and tax assistance. Currently serving as an AARP Tax Aide since January 2017, Rick McCain provides free tax assistance primarily to individuals over 50 with low to moderate income. Prior to this role, Rick McCain accumulated a wealth of expertise in nuclear and environmental engineering through various positions, including Senior Scientist at Stoller Newport News Nuclear from July 2002 to August 2016, Technical Lead at MACTEC, and Principal Engineer at Westinghouse Hanford Company. Rick McCain holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
