Samantha Stallybrass

Samantha Stallybrass has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Samantha worked as an Industry Talent Consultant at Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp. from October 2014 until the present. In this role, they connected local talent with companies in the Green, Construction, and Transportation industries, managed grant-funded projects, developed talent pipelines, and provided workforce development services.

Prior to their current role, Samantha was the Green Job and Trades Navigator/Training Program Project Lead at Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp. from October 2010 to October 2014. Samantha was responsible for curriculum development, outreach, marketing, course scheduling, hiring of instructors, student surveys, job placement, and data collection for workforce development programs. Samantha also served as a grant writer and project manager for multiple initiatives and represented AAWDC in different community organizations.

In addition to their work at AAWDC, Samantha also served as the Compost Outpost Coordinator for Veteran Compost from December 2012 to March 2021, where they managed composting operations in the Annapolis region. Samantha held the role of Manager of Education at the Composting Council Research & Education Foundation (CCREF) from July 2013 until June 2018, where they oversaw educational initiatives.

Before their roles at AAWDC, Veteran Compost, and CCREF, Samantha worked as the Director of Administration at New Dream: More of What Matters from 2007 to 2010, and as the Director of Visitor Services at The Baltimore Museum of Art from April 1999 to March 2007. In these positions, they managed various aspects of administration, public relations, customer services, arts marketing, event management, staff and volunteer recruitment, and operations management.
