Wonkyung Lyu

Wonkyung Lyu has a diverse work experience across various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, Lyu worked as a Software Engineer at Geopia Co., Ltd., developing and maintaining high-capacity file transfer systems. In 2011, Lyu joined SureM Co., Ltd. as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained real-time bulk SMS/MMS/Push relay servers. In 2013, Lyu co-founded DISCO: Discout Your Cost, serving as the Chief Technology Officer and providing free printing services to college students with printed advertisements. From 2014 to 2015, Lyu was selected as a National TOP 8 software developer and mentee at SW Maestro. In 2016, Lyu worked as a Lecturer, teaching Python and data analysis to beginners. In 2015, Lyu co-founded AB180 Inc., where they held the role of Chief Information Security Officer and Co-Founder. At AB180, Lyu built the architecture of the systems, developed back-end applications, and managed DevOps on big-data infrastructures. Currently, Lyu works as a Mentor at SW Maestro since 2020.

Wonkyung Lyu began their education journey at Ulsan Anione High School from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued studies in Computer Game Development. Following their high school education, Wonkyung Lyu enrolled in Sungkyunkwan University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from 2009 to 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Wonkyung Lyu has obtained multiple certifications. In 2015, they obtained the "Certificated for Software Maestro" from the Republic of Korea Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, as well as the "FKII-Purdue Information Technology Entrepreneurs and Commercialization Program" from Purdue University. In 2017, they acquired the "SQL Tuning for Software Developer" certification from FastCampus. More recently, in 2020, they obtained both the "Facebook Certified Advanced Marketing Developer" and "Facebook Certified Marketing Developer" certifications from Facebook.
